The 2nd Hi-Tech Ladies Golf tournament contested over 18 holes at the Royal Palm Golf Course was an event exclusively for the ladies.

Some of the participating ladies fall in the category of accomplished ones while others are on the run for improvement in their golf playing skills and seek to perform well under competitive conditions. Eligibility  for participation and competing in this exclusive event for ladies fell in three categories.

  • – Gold category was for lady golfers playing to a handicap of 0 to 15.
  • – Silver category was  for handicappers in the range of 16 to 24.
  • – Bronze category was reserved for competitors having handicaps between 25 to 34.
  • Masterly and proficient one turned out to be Parkha Ijaz of Defence Raya. She plays to a handicap of two, which is a pronounced achievement and while her drives off the tees were powerful and accurate, her ball control on and around the green was of high quality.Through application of champion like golf playing attributes, she produced the best gross round of the 18 holes contest. Her score of gross 75 fetched her the 2nd Hi Tech Ladies Golf Title.
  • Another young one, Suniya Osama of Garrison who is a four handicapper displayed superb golf playing skills and was the runners up in gross segment of handicap zero to 15.In the net section ,Ana James Gill(Royal Palm) won the first net and Ghazala Yasmin (Garrison) picked up 2nd net.

  • – Handicap 16-24 – Shahzadi Gulfam, first gross; Aisha Moazzam, 2nd gross; Momina Tarrar, 3rd gross; Abbeda Salam, 1st net; Shaheen Bano Hamdai, 2nd net; Shaheen Irfan, 3rd net.
  • – Handicap 25-36 – Rabia Tiwana, 1st gross; Maimoona Azam, 2nd gross; Gulfareen Waheed, 3rd gross; Minaa Zainab, first net; Nasira Shaheen, 2nd net; Uzma Khursheed, 3rd net.

At the conclusion of the 2nd Hi Tech Ladies Golf Tournament at Royal Palm Golf Course, the performing ladies were honoured and awarded prizes by Justice Abid Aziz.
