The Training/Conditioning Camp of Pakistan Blind Cricket Team for preparation of Sri Lanka Tour commenced at Okara Gymkhana Cricket Ground Okara. Six days long training camp will last till 18th of February 2019.

The team will depart for Sri Lanka on the morning of 20th February from Lahore and will play a bilateral series of 3 ODI’s and 3 T-20 matches. 

15 fifteen selected players of Pakistan Blind Cricket Team are taking part in this camp, Muhammad Jamil Head Coach of Pakistan Team will give them training, while Ibrar Shah (Assistant Coach) and Masood Jan (Trainer) will assist him during that.

Muhammad Jamil is the former Captain of Pakistan Blind Cricket Team and has played for Pakistan from 2010 till 2018. He was the devastating batman of his era and single handedly won many matches for Pakistan. This is his first task as a head coach of Pakistan Blind Cricket team. Earlier in year 2016, he gave Cricket Training and Coaching to Australian Blind Cricket team. 

This will be the first ever tour of Pakistan Blind Cricket Team to Sri Lanka, whereas Sri Lanka Team has toured Pakistan twice in 2008 and 2016, Pakistan Team won both series comprehensively. 

Nisar Ali will lead the Pakistan Blind Cricket team in this series, this will be his second stint as the Captain of Pakistan Blind Cricket team. He belongs to Mirpur Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
