According to an announcement, the Professional Squash Association (PSA), and the World Squash Federation (WSF), have reached an agreement of partnership with the Olympic Channel. With this agreement squash has joined more than 65 international governing bodies who have partnered with the Olympic Channel.

Through this understanding all three organisations will collaborate on content and provide highlights of the major squash tournaments and video contents featuring the legendary players of squash. And enable squash to reach a larger audience.

This partnership is after squash in recent years has gone through huge strides of growth, primarily due to PSA in 2010 having launched its own OTT streaming service – SQUASHTV.

Further, the collaboration will greatly support the other recent developments which have taken place in the world of squash, which include:

  • State of the art glass courts.
  • Tournaments being held in some of the most iconic locations of sports in the world.
  • Squash coverage through technological advancements provided by interactive Squash and Sports Data Labs have been revolutionised, thus, enabling biometric data such as player heart-rate data and distance covered to be used in live broadcasts.
