ITF-International Tennis Federation announced that the Billie Jean King Cup Play-off tie between Mexico and Great Britain on 5th-6th February 2021, will now be hosted by Great Britain.

The two teams will compete on the play-off for a place in the Qualifiers of Billie Jean King Cup to be held in 2022. As Great Britain have been granted choice of venue for the first game, the next play-off game will be between the two countries in Mexico.

The Billie Jean King Cup Committee voted in favour of reversing the choice of ground due to delays to the organisation of the tie resulting from the ongoing Presidential election process within the Federación Mexicana de Tenis.
