LAHORE: Muhammad Waseem moved up to the top in the Flyweight category of the World Boxing Council (WBC) ratings.
Due to this he qualifies for the World Title fight which will take place in September 2017 against Daigo Higa from Japan. Presently, Waseem having won all his five fights is the undisputed WBC Flyweight Silver Champion.

The Quetta-born boxer’s Korean promoter Andy Kim told the media that “Waseem is a hard-working and brave athlete and there’s no opponent who can intimidate him,” Added that Waseem will start his full-fledged training for the major fight after Ramadhan.
