Pakistan’s five athletes namely Shajar Abbas, Sohail Amir, Abdul Mueed, Sharoz Khan & Shah Nawaz participated in XXXI Qosanov Memorial Athletics Championships held from 25th-26th June 2022 at Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The performance of Pakistan athletics team was outstanding by winning 6 medals – Gold 1, Silver 3, Bronze 2 = Total 6. In the process 3 national records were also created in the events of 100m (created new national record by finishing the race in 10.38 sec), 200m & High Jump.
