Arshad Nadeem, Pakistan’s ace javelin thrower who shined during the World Athletics Championship 2023, is now eyeing to make landmark win in the Paris 2024 Olympics.

In a recent meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif the world athlete was credited for making a international mark moreover on his own efforts efforts. As recognition he was awarded Rupees 2.5 million.

Nadeem’s athletic career commenced during 2012 by firstly participating in the Junior level festivals. Later he progressed and shinned in various international event. Nadeem won Pakistan’s first ever medal – a silver medal at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest with a throw of 87.82m.

During 2023 National Games of Pakistan Nadeem won a gold medal, however, he had a knee injury, due to which he was no able to participate in the Asian Athletics Championships. Earlier in December 2022, Nadeem was treated for an injured elbow and knee joint in United Kingdom.
