The daredevil skydiver Luke Aikins (USA) set a new record by leaping 25,000 ft (7,600 m) from a plane without wearing a wingsuit or a parachute. The fall took place in Simi Valley, Southern California, USA.
Luke an experienced pilot, runs a skydiving school and has also performed stunts in movies like Iron Man 3.
Named ‘Heaven Sent’ this skydive becomes the Highest skydive without a parachute ever. The historic skydive made Luke Aikins reach an astonishing freefall speed of 120 mph (193 km/h).
After the jump, Luke said: “I’m almost levitating, it’s incredible. The thing that just happened. The words I want to say I can’t even get out of my mouth.”
