Stokes Back in Action

England skipper Ben Stokes joined his teammates for training ahead of the Boxing day test against South Africa confirming his presence in the playing Xi.

Earlier, Stokes was ruled out of Test squad after his father was rushed to Johannesburg hospital with an undisclosed ailment and Stokes had missed the practice.

Van der Dussen To Debut

South Africa batsman Rassie van der Dussen has been confirmed to begin his test career against England in the first test match starting from Thursday.

According to Proteas captain Faf du Plessis, 30-year-old Van der Dussen will come at number five as he will be replacing the injured Temba Bavuma who suffered a hip injury just a few days ago.

Australia Vs New Zealand Test Series

Bolt Cleared For Second Test

New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult will be a part of playing XI on the second test against Australia, Captain Kane Williamson has confirmed.

Boult sat out the first test against Australia due to a ribs injury he had suffered against England in November.

Kiwi skipper also announced that the first test’s opener Jeet Raval has been replaced by Tom Blundell ahead of the boxing day test match.

Australia Mulling Five Bowlers

Australia may come to face New Zealand in the second test match with five specialist bowlers according to captain Tim Paine.

Paine hinted at the probable decision of including five bowlers in the squad keeping in mind the dead conditions of Melbourn ground where no side had been able to take 20 wickets during the last 2 boxing day tests.

Russian MMA fighter Diana Avsaragova has confirmed her joining Bellator league’s ranks for the flyweight title.
