World Chess Rankings as of 9th June 2018

Standard Chess Rankings – Men

The first three ranks in the Men’s Standard chess rankings remained the same with Carlsen Magnus in the lead. Meanwhile, Russia’s Vladimir lost his position to China’s Dang Liren and is now placed 5th in the chess rankings.

Another Russian chess player by the name of Sergey dropped down by one rank and his place was taken by Netherland’s Anish.

Hou Yifan of China still tops the ranking followed by Ju Wenjun and Muzuycjuk who are placed 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Valentina upgraded her ranking by 4 points as she moved up to the 5th rank in the women’s standard chess rankings. China’s Tingjie upgraded her rank as she moved up 1 position in the ranking and is now placed 7th.

No changes were seen in the Top 10 Men’s Rapid chess rankings. Carlsen Magnus still tops the ranking followed by Cuba’s Dominguez Perez and India’s Anand Viswanathan who are placed 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Shakhriyar took the 14th position in the Men’s Rapid chess rankings by replacing Russia’s Vladislav.

Blitz Chess Rankings – Men

The Norwegian master-mind Carlsen Magnus tops the Blitz rankings too followed by USA’s Nakamura who is placed at 2nd position.

Russia’s Vladislav lost his 3rd place to USA’s So Wesley as he dropped down to 4th place in the Men’s Blitz chess rankings. Aronian Levon also dropped down from his 5th position and Russia’s Ian took his place as he broke into the Top 5 rankings.
