Action in European Football is gaining pace. As the teams play regular weekly matches in respective leagues, Group stages of various European (Continental) leagues have also started which are being separately covered by Allsportspk. Demand on top players are more as they have to participate in national and continental leagues as well as in their national teams. This requires a great degree of focus and physical fitness. But then, this is what sets apart great players from ordinary ones.
Let’s see how teams performed in respective leagues on this MatchDay. Gradually, a definitive picture is emerging. There are still lots of matches to go and surprises will surely be in store. The Top Leagues in Europe got busy again after a two week hiatus. In this period, many footballers performed duties with national teams, playing friendlies or qualifiers. The scheduling and adjustments of various tiers and
competitions are indeed herculean tasks which UEFA performs admirably well in conjunction with member associations. Even then, due to unforeseen or unavoidable reasons, some teams have to go through less gaps between matches or extra traveling etc. but it is taken as part of business.
Let’s see how teams fared in respective leagues on this MatchDay though it is still early days to form any definitive picture. Nonetheless, for some, like Manchester City and Real Madrid, only winning is the option.
