After the Champions League 2021-22 playoff games were completed, the victorious teams Shakhtar Donetsk, RB Salzburg and Sheriff Tiraspol qualified for the 2021/22 Champions League group stages. With this the Group draws were held today on 26th August in Istanbul.

With the 32 teams playing in 2021-22 Champions League. they will be split into eight groups of four teams each, based on seedings. Two teams from the same country will not be allowed to play at this stage.

The first matches of the group stage will be played on 14th and 15th September, while the final is due to be held at the Saint Petersburg Stadium in Russia on 28th May, 2022.

GROUP A: Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, RB Leipzig, Club Brugge

GROUP B: Atletico Madrid, Liverpool, Porto, AC Milan

GROUP C: Sporting CP, Borussia Dortmund, Ajax, Besiktas

GROUP D: Inter, Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk, Sheriff Tiraspol

GROUP E: Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Benfica, Dynamo Kyiv

The first matches of the group stage will be played on September 14 and 15, while matchday two will take place on September 28 and 29.

The final is due to be held at the Saint Petersburg Stadium in Russia on May 28, 2022.
