Highlights & Analysis
  1. At the IPL auction everyone praised Sunrisers Hyderabad tactics as they made a really well-balanced team in this IPL 2018. And, this tactic showed its result today against Rajasthan Royals as Sunrisers won the match with ease.
  2. Sunrisers won the toss and elected to field on a pitch where runs weren’t easy to make. This showed when Royals batting started and they lost early wickets.
  3. After Kane Williamson got Darcy Short run-out in the first over it was all down hill for Royals as they lost regular wickets throughout the innings.
  4. Every SRH bowler got himself a wicket and Royals in reply could only manage to score 125 runs on this bowling wicket.
  5. Shakib Al Hasan and Siddharth Kaul took two wickets a piece followed by Stanlake, Kumar and Rashid who took one wicket each.
  6. The 2nd innings went underway and the Sunrisers batsmen now felt pretty confident that they can chase this score down without much difficulty.
  7. Royals on the other hand got an early wicket of WP Saha. But, after Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson went into their zones there was no stopping them.
  8. Royals tried everything, they tried spin they tried pace but it was of no use. Both batsmen were playing with 100+ strike rates and were scoring all over the ground.
  9. Both batsmen looked in good touch as they chased down the score in 15.5 overs to hand Rajasthan Royals their first loss of the tournament.
  10. A total of 7 bowlers were bowled by the Royals captain Rahane but you can’t do much when you don’t have enough runs on the board.
  11. With this win Sunrisers Hyderabad are placed at the top of the IPL table, a place they deserve to be in.
