Pakistan – T20 Blind Cricket Trophy ’18: Grade 2 – Karachi Wins
Gujranwala: The T20 Blind Cricket Trophy ’18 – Grade 2 level final was held at Stadium, Gujranwala. Attock won the toss and asked Karachi to take guard. Attock had defeated Karachi in the league stage by batting second so they followed the same tactics but this time it did not yield the same result.
Tahir Ali’s 196 runs innings helped Karachi to post a mammoth total of 301 runs for the loss of wickets in allotted 20 overs. Tahir hit 39 boundaries (39×4) and 1 six during his magnificent innings. Ahtesham-ul-Haq claimed 1 wicket.
Attock in reply to insurmountable total posted only 222 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Ahtesham-ul-Haq scored 139 runs. Muhammad Kashif took 2 wickets.
Result: Karachi won by 79 runs

The prizes were distributed for the main sponsor – National Bank of Pakistan to the players, by the senior officials, which included Mr. Shahid, Vice President NBP, Mr. Qaisar, NBP. The ceremony was also attended by PBCC officials, Syed Sultan Shah, Chairman, Syed Salman Bokhari, Director Marketing, Mr. Bilal Satti, Director Cricket Operations.
The Final of the Grade-1 will be played b/w Bahawalpur and Islamabad tomorrow on 17th October at Lahore Gymkhana Cricket Ground (Bagh-e-Jinnah) Lahore.
