Tsitsipas reached the semi-finals of the Rogers Cup 2018, after he toppled the 7th ranked Dominic Thiem, 9th ranked Novak Djokovic and the 2nd ranked Alexander Zverev.

The Greece tennis player continued his blazing form against Kevin Anderson, and overcame the Wimbledon runner-up, who took the fight to the very end, but eventually lost the match.
Tsitsipas becomes the 4th active player to qualify for a Masters 1000 final before turning 20 years of age.

Tsitsipas backhand was the highlight of the whole match, as he used this skill to his advantage more often than once.
Now, the Greek tennis player will face the winner of the 2nd semi-final match, scheduled to be held between the World No.1 Rafael Nadal and the Russian Khachanov.
