Pakistan will host the 21st Asian Individual Squash Championship for Men and Women, during 15th – 19th December, 2021 at Mushaf Squash Complex, Islamabad.  The opening ceremony of the Championship is scheduled on 15th December, 2021 at 15.00 hours.

The 2019 event was hosted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Men’s and Women’s titles were both won by Indian players, Saurav Ghosal and Joshna Chinappa respectively.

The Men event has a draw of 32 players whereas, the Women event has 16 players’ draw. Apart from Pakistan, a group of international ranking players from Hong Kong, Kuwait, Malaysia, Qatar, Sri Lanka have entered in both the events. 

In the 1st Round of Men event, 8 players have been given Bye and 8 matches would be played on 15th December, 2021.  The 1st Round of Women event, would be played in 2 days, with 4 matches of the top half being played on 15th December and the remaining 4 matches of lower half on 16th December, 2021. 

In Men event, there are 4 players each from Hong Kong, Kuwait, Sri Lanka and Malaysia, 6 from Pakistan and 2 from Qatar.  Whereas, in Women event, there are 4 players each from Hong Kong and Malaysia, 6 from Pakistan and 2 from Sri Lanka.

From Pakistan, Tayyab Aslam, Asim Khan, Nasir Iqbal, Farhan Zaman, Amaad Fareed and Israr Ahmed are playing in Men event whereas, Zynab Khan, Noor Ul Huda, Saima Shaukat, Anam Mustafa Aziz, Noor Ul Ain Ejaz and Komal Khan are in the Women event. 

As per entry list issued by ASF-Asian Squash Federation, in Men event World No 26 Ng Eain Yow from Malaysia is top seed along with World No 30 Abdulla Mohammed E A Al-Tamimi from Qatar as No 2 seed. As to Women event, World No 41, Liu Tsz Ling from Hong Kong is No 1 seed along with World No 43 Rachel Mae Arnold form Malaysia as No 2 seed.
