Kenya’s Peres Jepchirchir has set the World Half Marathon All-Time Record by crossing finish line in 1 hour 5 minutes and 16 seconds in cold, windy conditions in a women-only race.

Jepchirchir achieved this feat during World Athletics Half Marathon Championships 2020, held in Gdynia, Poland.
