A 26 days Summer Golf Coaching Camp to inspire youngsters golf was organized from 27th June till 22nd July at the Royal Palm Golf Academy, Lahore.

35 boys and girls in the age group from 5 to 13 years participated under the supervision of Siraj Khan, an accomplished golf coach who was supported by two lady coaches, Zaib un Nisa and Ana James Gill.

During the course of interaction with beginners the Chief Coach, admitted that teaching beginners was a challenge but he and his coaching team did it with paramount adherence and patience. He added, that what was heartening was that many of the attending little ones showed immense talent, inclination and zest for the game.

As a result of this activity and intense learning exercise the, boys and girls who participated in the coaching sessions handled the multiple aspects of golfing capably and proficiently.

At the conclusion of the 26 days Golf Coaching Camp the results were as follows:

Girls 5 to 9 years: 1st Malika Khushbakt, 2nd Zaynab Akram, 3rd Izza Yasir.

Girls 10-12 years: 1st Fatima Akram, 2nd Nabeeha Rafaqat, 3rd Zainab.

Girls 13 years: 1st Malayeka Mujahid, 2nd Rija Shahbaz Rao, 3rd Fatima Zahra.

Boys 5-6 years: 1st Aaly Khan, 2nd Wali Akram, 3rd Saad Akram Tullah.

Boys 7-9 years: 1st Ebrahim Ammar Khan, 2nd Muhammed Mustafa Zahid, 3rd Tabish Riaz.

Boys 10-13 years: 1st Numair Zaman Khan, 2nd Mubeen Akram, 3rd Salahuddin Anas Sheikh.

On this occasion a golf competition was also held for the mothers and the winner in age category 30-40 years was Muneeba Rafaqat, in age category 41-45 years was Abida Kashid and in age above 50 years was Amra Leghari. 

At the conclusion of the Royal Palm Golf Summer Camp 2022, the prizes and shields were awarded to performing young ones by Muhammed Ammar Khan of Razziq International and Minna Zainab, Lady Captain of Royal and Executive Member of Punjab Golf Association.
