The opening ceremony of the Tokyo Paralympics is scheduled to be on 24th August 2021.
As exactly one year is left for the event so celebrations were made. Famous buildings such as Tokyo Skytree were illuminated with the Paralympics colours – red, green and blue.
International Paralympic Committee organized the celebrations with the help of the government of Japan.
Total of 4400 athletes will participate in Paralympics 2020-2021.
Japan has already spent $ 12.6 billion on arrangements for the Olympics and Paralympics which has been delayed due to the corona virus pandemic.
