KBA: 28th April Bridge Contest

The KBA Weekend Bridge contest held at the Aslam Bridge Hall was a triumph for the makeshift pair of Khalid Manzur and Khalid Zaki who managed admirably to beat all other 14 contestants with a handsome score of 63.43% to secure the First Position. Not too far behind was the brilliant Lone Ranger(A.Muqeet)pairing with  sly and cautious Hussain Jaffer to notch up the Runners Up Position with a score of 61.90%. The Regular Pair of  the ever reliable Anwer Qazilbash and the sound and steady Anisur Rehman were placed Third at a score of 58.68%, thereby, relegating the pair of Anwer Sultan and Adnan Mehmud  by a fraction to the 4th position with a score of 58.33%.

The KBA Sunday Bridge Team Event will be held at the same Venue on 30th April at 3 p.m. sharp.

The KBA Management in order to promote bridge especially among the young Pakistanis organizes weekly events in venues which include Karachi Gymkhana, Karachi Club, Defence Club or Golf Club or at Aslam Hall.

Besides the weekly events, annually there are two major Pairs & Teams events each at Karachi Club and Karachi Gymkhana. In addition, KBA also conducts a couple of preliminary Open Trials for selecting a team for international participation and Finals of All Pakistan National Trials under Pakistan Bridge Federation.
